Primary 4 were definitely in the money today! We had a fantastic visit to the Museum on the Mound. We learned all about the Bank of Scotland building in our introduction and then we were split into 3 groups to do different activities. We learned all about early types of money and how it was used. We got to study bank notes close up and even got to hold £4000 in our hands. In our final activity, we learned about early coins and then we created our own. The class were so enthusiastic and fully engaged with every activity. I am certain your child will tell you all about it and perhaps you may take the time to visit the museum in the near future together. There you will be able to see £1,000,000!!!!!!
